الملخص:This research aims to determine the cocaine in inorganic samples from the district of Chimborazo by the method of infrared spectroscopy and gas chromatography entering the Laboratory of Forensic Chemistry Department of Criminology of the Judicial Police Chimborazo in the period December 2013 to May 2014. in addition the following research aims to determine the presence and exact concentration of cocaine, by seeking analytes in a matrix or inorganic support such as cardboard, leather, paper, or mixed with other liquids (solutions, emulsions, suspensions, etc.) and solid state samples of bone-white color (cocaine base), bright white powder (cocaine hydrochloride), which are being used increasingly often by criminal organizations. This research was conducted using qualitative technical methods scientific field such as liquid-liquid extraction, solid phase extraction, coloring tests (Dragendorff, cobalt thiocyanate and scott), qualitative methods Confirmatory as thin layer chromatography, infrared spectroscopy in addition to quantitative methods to obtain the exact concentration of the analyte under study is gas chromatography.
