Etiketle | Özet: | ABSTRACT: This research aims to highlight the ancestral knowledge that has been preserved through generations and thus has become a part of cultural identity. Guano canton, located in the Chimborazo Province, is home to skilled artisans who have acquired ancestral techniques, enabling them to start their ventures by producing artisanal items such as leather, stone, cabuya, and wool, among other crafts considered cultural heritage material of the region. It helps to prevent the fading of local practices and strengthens customs and traditions. The research development considered the following variables: the independent variable pertains to ancestral knowledge that allows for the identification of tangible product creation, and the dependent variable pertains to cultural identity, which aims to identify the ancestral practices of the inhabitants. The project's execution addressed a significant problem, taking into account a high rate of ancestral knowledge devaluation. Twelve questions were implemented, two for each indicator, yielding results through surveys conducted among the inhabitants of manufacturing services and the Decentralized Autonomous Municipal Government (GADM) of Guano. The results indicated a "High" index according to Cronbach's Alpha scale. With these results, the proposal was put into action, which, in this case, involved creating a portfolio of artisanal material and cultural heritage from Guano. The aim is to maintain, preserve, and showcase the most relevant products through physical and digital marketing, promoting Guano locally and internationally. |
