Celebraciones Culturales de la Cosmovisión andina en la parroquia Cacha, perteneciente a la nacionalidad Kichwa del pueblo Puruhá, Provincia de Chimborazo

The current research work “Cultural Celebrations of the Andean cosmovision in Cacha parish, which belong to the Kichwa nationality of the Puruhá nation, in Chimborazo province" aims to describe the main celebrations of the Andean worldview in Cacha parish, implementing the theoretical and methodological foundation of the celebrations of the Andean worldview. Furthermore, the significance of the festivities was ascertained by means of interviews with various residents of the town under investigation. The outcomes of these interviews included the yearly celebrations held in Cacha parish, including the Canto del Jahuay, which falls on the same day as the Inti Raymi. In the same way, the bibliographic review allowed to determine the main characteristics of the festivals of the Andean worldview in the sector in which the study was carried out and through images and videos in which each of the elements of the identity could be captured. of the Puruha nation. It was possible to extract the necessary data using qualitative methodology, a descriptive approach, and a non-probabilistic sample. This highlights the significance of researching, examining, and studying the events that occur among the indigenous people of the Riobamba canton, and it led to the conclusion that indigenous communities still uphold the customs and traditions that have been passed down through the generations.
