| Summary: | Anemia is classified as a disease that affects the entire population, being one of the groups most vulnerable the child population, caused them different effects at the level of their physical and mental performance. For this reason, this present research work has an objective to analyze the blood count and Sideremia as a help for the diagnosis of anemia in school children between the ages of 5 and 8 of the “Simón Rodríguez” Educative Unit of Licán, where it was done with a sample of 174 students being the same beneficiaries. It was made a descriptive, quasi-experimental, cross-sectional, using as an instrument the results report. In order to carry the analyzes, were used automatized methods, as well as strict quality control in the analytical, analytical and post-analytical phases in order to obtain results that are of great help and usefulness for the timely diagnosis of anemia and thus contribute to society in the control and prevention of this pathology. According to the results obtained during this research, the analysis of blood count, as well as ferrum, it was found that there is a 26.4% of anemia present in the studied school population, cataloging blood count and serum iron as evidence of great importance that help us to give a diagnosis of anemia, sometimes it is considered necessary to perform other tests that give us a more certain diagnosis of anemia. |
