Engadir etiqueta | Summary: | The urban solid waste generated daily is a problem for national and local global authorities, such as Guano canton, which currently does not has an optimal place for the final disposal of waste generated by the population. This research aims to propose an optimal place that meetthe technical and legal parameters to implement a sanitary landfill. Through the calculation of the population projection for the year 2031 and the amount of solid waste daily totals it was determined that the manual type sanitary landfill is adequate for supply population needs.For the selection of an optimal place, a codified sectorization of Guano canton with an area of 2000 m2 through the Fishnet mesh, in which a multicriteria analysis based on the systemsof geographic information (GIS), where 12 environmental criteria were established, technical, social and economic, 6 criteria based on the current regulations of Book VI, Annex 6 of TULSMA Environmental Quality which are: water resources, distance to airports, distance to roads, distance to the nearest town, flood zones, land use and occupation, and 6 criteria based on similar research which are: slope, precipitation, protected natural areas, mass movement, the community rejection and human settlements, thus ruling out unsuitableareas that they did not comply with any criterion, for the weighting and assignment of the importance of the themselves went through the hierarchical analytical process (AHP),obtaining the C8 codified sectorization is the most suitable area for the sanitary landfill location in San José de Chocón town, belonging to the urban parish La Matriz. Once the suitable zone was established, new collection routes were proposed in the same direction, which were graphed in the ArcMap 10.5 software. |
