要約:The lexical-semantic study of student slang in the social network Facebook, focuses on exposing a realistic scope about the use of certain lexies. Young people interact with each other, creating a system of communicative codes for a given group of people. Facebook acts as a means of propagation for new youth jargons, making the use of those become a terminology specific to the users of this social network. Therefore, the research study matters to the society, due to its contribution in the lexicological field. It aims to analyze the lexicon of the slang of university students in social networks, using a semantic approach. The methodology used was qualitative, descriptive, basic and bibliographic scope for the collection of the 15 jargons analyzed. The first part is a componential analysis for a deep breakdown, then the semantic interpretation of each lexicon studied. At the conclusion of the analyses, the evolution of the jargons and the semantic change present in them are effectively demonstrated, due to the use of young people with the need to communicate between codes, creating more symbolic meanings. Some words have similar meanings accepted by the Real Academia Española and are shared by several countries.
