| Samenvatting: | This research on “THE SOCIODRAM USED AS EDUCATIVE RESOURSE IN THE STRENGTHENING OF THE VOCABULARY IN THE FIRST OF BASIC OF THE EDUCATIONAL UNITY SANTO TOMÁS APOSTOL FROM THE CITY OF RIOBAMBA, PERIOD 2020 – 2021”, had as its main objective to analyze the scope of sociodrama in children for the development of semantic skills due to the area of language is of great importance in interpersonal relationships. This research was carried out within a qualitative approach, with a depth of descriptive study and supported by bibliographic design, information was collected on the variables without manipulating them, finding different characteristics of them. On the other hand, the virtual fieldwork helped to gather information around a population of 154 students taking a sample of 31 children from parallel “A” and 4 primary school teachers. The techniques and instruments used were a survey that was applied to the teachers and the observation guide which was applied virtually to the children, the results were relevant for obtaining a close view of the research problem. The analysis and interpretation of the results showed that the sociodrama is partially used by the teachers, which led to the conclusion that the sociodrama is a strategy that favors the cognitive, emotional and affective development of children since it stimulates creativity and strengthens the increase of vocabulary by introducing it into a participatory, communicative and social world. |
