Comunicación asertiva y las relaciones interpersonales en los docentes de la “Unidad Educativa Isabel de Godín”

The present research aimed to determine the relationship between assertive communication and interpersonal relationships in teachers of the "Isabel de Godin Educational Unit." They know that assertive communication is a clear, precise, and objective way of communicating ideas and thoughts. Interpersonal relationships are the socialization that individuals have with those who are in their environment. Methodologically, a quantitative approach was used, with a non-experimental, descriptive, correlational, crosssectional, basic, field design with an analytical, inductive-deductive method, the population was made up of the 133 teachers of the institution and was composed of 81 women and 52 men, the technique was the psychometric test and the instruments were the Assertiveness Test in which it was identified that 41% of the teachers have slightly assertiveness, have conflicts to relate to others; While through the Interpersonal Relations Questionnaire it was evidenced that 56% have a medium level, through direct scores it could be executed in the SPSS V5 program, showing a Pearson correlation of 0.230 **, reaching the conclusion that people They have adequate assertive communication, do not have difficulties in developing personal relationships, however, as they do not have adequate assertive communication, they have difficulties in relating to their environment, this is because they are people who lack affection, present aggressive behaviors, causing being rejected by the people around them.
