الملخص:According to the World Health Organization (WHO), foodborne diseases (ETA) nowadays are one of the most common health problems that affect people’s health around the world. This research aims to identify bacteria with clinical importance in agricultural products of Guamote river basin, this allowed us to discover pathogenic bacteria for human beings and their antimicrobial resistance. This study was descriptive, cross-sectional with a not experimental field design; we used the observation technique, collection samples of agricultural products from six Guamote River adjacent points taking into account the enviromental temperature, as well as the pH and altitude. We used culture media such as: Peptonated water, Blood agar, MacConkey, CLED; as well as the use of physiological and biochemical tests for classification according to the species. As antimicrobial resistance, the Kirby Bauer method was applied with the measuring instruments support and observation sheets. Isolation and identification showed ten gram-negative pathogenic bacteria: Aeromonas sp, Pseudomona aeruginosa and enterobacteria such as Klebsiella pneumoniae, Klebsiella oxytoca (2), Citrobacter diversus (3), Citrobacter amalonaticus, Citrobacter freundii (3), Proteus mirabilis (2), Entee cloecacter (2a) (2) and Enterobacter aerogenes (2); they did not present any resistance mechanism, concluding that there is the presence of bacteria of clinical interest in agricultural products near Guamote River.
