Thisissue generates a violation of intellectual property rights evident in the XXI century. It is worrying that despite having current legal regulations that protect the owner of the rights, such as the Organic Code of the Social Economy of Knowledge, Creativity and Innovation, Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador and International Treaties and Conventions, this violation of the rights of Author. This research allows us to deepen and know the legal effects of the illicit use of software. It is essential to note that administrative, civil and criminal sanctions put an , which are given in order to put an end to piracy. Lack of control by the competent authorities on copyright does not comply with what is established by the legal norm in terms of inspection and sanction, which allows piracy to continue to grow in our country. This research is structured in the theoretical part in three units. The problem addressed, that is, copyright, the illicit use of software, to complete and elucidate the legal effects that the illegal use of software entails. Each unit made it possible to meet the objectives set out in the research project to establish conclusions and recommendations. |
