Adicionar Tag | Resumo: | In this research an analysis on the violation of the rights of persons deprived of liberty is made, they suffer from catastrophic diseases and their constitutional rights, the same study is done through a qualitative-quantitative approach to establish whether the rights established in the Constitution and the Organic Integral Penal Code are guaranteed, If this is not the case, an action of habeas corpus or an action for protection may be filed to ensure that the rights of prisoners suffering from catastrophic diseases are complied with. The Ecuador¨s constitution guarantees the rights of those deprived of liberty, especially if they have catastrophic diseases since they belong to vulnerable groups due to their condition, so that the violation of their rights will be investigated. The work involves a population of 60 people, including persons deprived of liberty at the Chimborazo No. 1 Prison, health professionals, officials and public servants. Since the population is not large, we proceeded to work with all citizens. The present investigation concludes by pointing out that the constitutional rights of persons deprived of liberty who suffer from catastrophic diseases are not complied with. |
