| Summary: | Currently, Information and Communication Technologies (TICs) have had a significant impact in recent years in the healthcare sector, optimizing some processes systematically. The Clinical Laboratory Santa Teresita has considered it pertinent to use TICs to provide a results delivery service through the web. The project aims to develop and implement a web system using open-source software to deliver clinical test results. In the project development process, the Web Engineering (Iweb) methodology is implemented, focused on the development of systems for the World Wide Web (www) and the Internet, addressing various investigative concepts that emerge as a priority at the beginning of the project, contributing to the enrichment of knowledge to the developer. An analysis of the system requirements is proposed, including samples, planning, report generation, and a detailed evaluation of available web technologies where those that best adapt to the project's needs are chosen. In the system design, attention is paid to the interface's usability, aiming to provide clinical laboratory users with an intuitive experience. A database is integrated to ensure the security and efficiency of data storage and retrieval. The work results in an application with a simple and user-friendly interface, facilitating access to information on clinical tests carried out in the laboratory. Surveys are conducted among users to evaluate usability according to ISO/IEC 9241 standards, obtaining a range of results between 56.6% and 73.6% from respondents regarding the system's ease of use. |
