Factores determinantes para la concesión de microcrédito por parte de las entidades financieras a las PYMES en la parroquia Cañar, período 2020.

The main objective of the present investigation seeks to know what are the determining factors for the granting of microcredits by financial entities to SMEs in the Cañar parish during the period 2020, based on the study of variables related to the information of the applicant of the financing and the company. Likewise, the research is based on the theory given by the Grameen Bank school of thought, whose assumption mentions that low-income people do not meet the requirements requested by financial institutions in order to grant them a loan. To meet the research objective, a survey is established aimed at the 15 financial entities located in the Cañar parish. To know these determinants, a logit binary logistic regression model was proposed, obtaining that the significant variables for granting a microcredit to SMEs in the Cañar parish in 2020 are the age of the microcredit applicant, the economic activity of the SMEs, indebtedness, leverage, and return on equity (ROE) This empirical investigation is divided into the following chapters. Chapter I includes the introduction, objectives and research problem. Chapter II, shows the state of the art and theoretical foundation of microcredits. Chapter III presents the methodology, method, type, design and research techniques used to collect information. Chapter IV includes the results of the estimated model and finally in chapter V the conclusions and recommendations of the investigation are presented.
