Čoahkkáigeassu:This study aimed to determine the aggressive behaviors of students at Capitán Edmundo Chiriboga High School. Technically, aggressiveness is defined as a behavior that occurs when the achievement of an objective is constantly hindered or interfered. Frustration is perceived as an interference with the occurrence of reactions in the sequence of actions at the appropriate time and reaching the understanding that frustration is an essential condition to cause aggression. Methodologically, the research used a quantitative approach, with a non-experimental, basic, descriptive, and transversal design. The sample was non-probabilistic and intentional. The sample involved 90 males and 80 females attending the ninth course of basic general education (E.G.B) at Capitán Edmundo Chiriboga School. The instrument used in this study was the CAPI-A test. Results from the application of the test showed that 31% of participants displayed a profile of impulsive aggressiveness, 14% reported a mixed profile, and 13% exhibited a premeditated profile. Results suggest that participants have diverse profiles of aggression. However, the most prevalent is the impulsive aggressiveness profile because they make hasty and thoughtless decisions that leads to aggressive behaviors. The most important signs that students with this profile showed were impatience, the need for an immediate reward, and the tendency to seek situations that generate risks.
