| Итог: | The research aimed to determine the relationship of management with the development of Health Tourism in the city of Riobamba. It is a descriptive, correlational, and field research with a non-experimental cross-sectional design. For determining the relationship between the two variables, a questionnaire was applied using the Likert scale in a single moment, a unit of analysis was proposed for each variable. For the management variable, it was taken into account the health tourism service providers and tourism technicians from the city of Riobamba; The following dimensions were evaluated: Planning, organization, control, and direction; likewise for the variable health tourism and its dimensions: well-being, equipment, services, specialized personnel; for this, the unit of analysis was the population of the city of Riobamba. With the results obtained, the hypothesis test was performed using the Rho de Spearman statistic, concluding that management is not related to the development of health tourism in the city of Riobamba, as well as its components; however, in the situational diagnosis, poor planning was evidenced, which still leads to poor development of health tourism. So, management strategies are proposed to help their development in order to link the two sectors: Tourism and Health in order to generate an offer of wellness activities, to generate employment, in turn, to improve the tourist flow and the local economy. |
