Description
Summary:The present research work is about topographic surveys performed by traditional methods are very laborious when handling large areas of soil, which implies that it is a labor- slow and costly activity in terms of labor. Therefore, when investigating alternatives to improve these aspects using current technology, the photogrammetry method using drones is found. This project has been untitled "APPLICATION AND COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE” (PHOTOGRAMMETRY) WITH THE TRADITIONAL METHOD" aims to assemble a quadcopter drone, that contains the essential characteristics to be used in topographic surveys by photogrammetry autonomously using the Dronelink navigation system, in order to check if the drone is enable to generate fast and accurate information in relation with the traditional method, 30 topographic surveys were carried out at different heights: 40m, 60m, and 80m. Finally, according to the results obtained, it can be established that the drone at the height of 40 meters takes accurate aerial photographs that generate information at the time of processing and thus obtain photogrammetric surveys that are adequate for a better quality of product.
