Sumari:The objective of this research project was to systematize third generation therapies in the management of psychoactive substance consumption in the adult population, through bibliographic research with a quantitative approach at a descriptive level and with a non-experimental cross-sectional design, in which. A population of 245 documents was consulted through a bibliographic review. Of which 30 articles in total were collected as part of the sample that met the selection criteria, subjecting these quantitative articles to the methodological quality review through the CRF-QS instrument. Obtained in the majority of the literature that third generation therapies and the theory of relational frameworks are linked and conceived in the treatment of experiential avoidance disorders in relation to the consumption of psychoactive substances in adults, especially with acceptance therapy and commitment that allows generating psychological flexibility and acceptance, giving way to favorable results in accepting and recognizing unpleasant emotional states. Likewise, dialectical behavioral therapy allows identifying, accepting and changing dysfunctional behaviors through emotional regulation, while mindfulness through The implementation of meditation and the practice of awareness in the present and acceptance focus on the desire or longing related to the consumption of psychoactive substances that is positioned as a public health problem, which develops into inappropriate behaviors that disable the cope with stressful or highly annoying situations.
