El turismo de la parroquia San Pedro de Guanujo, cantón Guaranda, provincia de Bolívar, como sustento económico de la población en el año 2015

This research is of interest due to allow analyzing and interpreting whether tourism can be considered an economic livelihood for the inhabitants of the parish of San Pedro de Guanujo Guaranda Canton, Bolivar Province. First the study of the problem arises, considering that it has a strategy developed technically enabling people develop tourist activities sustainably. The specific objectives where the origin and history of Guanujo, tourist tractive and whether they are economic support for the parish, these objectives seek to sustainably take advantage of the resources available in the case of tourist places that allow boost tourism and improve the quality of services for the welfare of the population, the natural and cultural potential present in the area was also established, the research cleared the study of the two variables which expanded the knowledge that helped to develop personal criteria, the methodology used was exploratory where direct observation was applied which permitted facilitate the implementation of the surveys and interviews, through field research a research project was done where the tourist attractions of the sector were validated by photographs and arguing according to information acquired from each place. It was concluded that the tourist attractions do provide the economic livelihood of people, but it is important the training of people to provide good attention to the tourist so it goes back, also worth mentioning that places that have lower number of tourists should be promoted and especially the authorities have to support tourism.
