Consumo de sustancias Psicotrópicas en la conducta de los estudiantes dela Unidad Educativa ¨Fernando Daquilema¨ Riobamba, 2015- 2016

The consumption of psychotropic substances is currently a social problem; adolescents are a vulnerable group and they are exposed to the sale and consumption of some type of psychotropic substances, which causes the consumption to start at an early age. This research aims to determine the effect of psychotropic substances on the consumer students’ behavior of the ¨Fernando Daquilema¨ Educational Unit, Riobamba, 2015 – 2016. The deductive and inductive scientific method allowed knowing the reality of the investigation; the design is non-experimental because it did not manipulate variables, the type of research is descriptive because it provided and described information about the problem, it is of field because it went to the place of the problem and bibliographical since specialized information was obtained. The type of study is cross-sectional since research was carried out in a specific time. The research was conducted with 68 students of the tenth year of the ¨Fernando Daquilema¨ Educational Unit, Riobamba canton. The survey was applied with 4 questions designed according to the first variable, and the Bas 3 item for the second variable, which allowed obtaining information about the consumption of psychotropic substances in the behavior. It is concluded that the consumption of psychotropic substances is related to the students’ behavior of tenth grade of General Basic Education of the ¨Fernando Daquilema¨ Educational Unit, in which it was evidenced that 44.11% consume some type of Psychotropic Substances and 50% of the population exhibits inappropriate behavior
