| 總結: | This research aims to analyze the relationship behveen sleep habits and cognitive strengtliening in cliildren of the Inicial Level 2 stlblevel at the "Liceo Policial Chimborazo" Educational Unit, located in the canton of Riobainba. This topic is relevant for both parents and teachers. The study population consisted of 11 boys and 9 girls, for ivhom an observation sheet was applied with relevant aspects and items that alloived for the evaluation of their cognitive developnient. Additionally, a standardized test was adniinistered to the parents to gather information and determine if the child exliibits a sleep disorder. A field study with a cross- sectional design and a mixed-methods approach was conducted, non-experimental in nature. This was because the researcli took place at a specific time to observe the children's behavior and collect data without altering it for later analysis. As a result, it was concluded that children need a reliable and safe environment, as well as the implenientation of physical activity in their daily routine to establish the sleep habit. Tlus physiological process serves as a cognitive strengthening agent for children, as it iYas demonstrated that having restorative sleep allows children to actively participate in the classroom, achieving meaningful learning. Therefore, parents should implement strategies based on the child's area of interest to introduce the sleep habit into their daily life.
