Riesgos Psicosociales en Policías del GAD Municipal. Riobamba, 2019

This research aimed to analyze the psychosocial risks in the police of the Decentralized Autonomous Government (GAD) of Riobamba, 2019. This research was bibliographical and field-based with cross-sectional and descriptive level design. The population used consisted of 70 municipal police officers of the Decentralized Autonomous Municipal Government of Riobamba. The research applied the Psychosocial Risk Evaluation Questionnaire. Among the most relevant results, 62.9% of the participants had a low level of psychosocial risk, 31.4% had a medium level of psychosocial risk, and 57% had a high psychosocial risk level. Simultaneously, in the dimensions of psychosocial risk, the highest scores were taken, where it was evidences that 21.4% present psychosocial risk of Workplace Harassment, 20% correspond to the psychosocial risk of Work Conditions, and 12.9% shoe the psychosocial risk of Recovery. It was concluded that municipal police officers present a high index of psychosocial risk, increasing if they do not provide the due importance. Because of the results, it recommended that the proposed plan of psychological strategies is used, which are oriented towards the prevention of psychosocial risks since this will help improve the performance and performance of the municipal police.
