Alternativas de habitabilidad sustentable a través del uso de prefabricados de hormigón

Currently, housing is considered a patrimonial asset for families. However, the buildings are implemented with a traditional system in some cases with labor inefficiencies. Also, some type of houses offered by the government are designed to be implanted in rural areas. This research is based on the need to analyse and understand the current housing situation in Ecuador, the interest of the private company UCEM.S. A. in proposing self-supporting precast concrete elements as a sustainable solution for their efficient use of materials, waste reduction among other aspects in the construction sector, Is it possible to design homes largely with prefabricated self-supporting elements thinking about several alternatives of implementation in batch? The objective of the present investigation is to propose an alternative design by batch typology, using prefabricated modules of concrete type drawer (MPH), starting from the redesign of the model 2.0 of housing developed by the company UCEM.S.A. through design processes linked to each other reaching several alternatives that satisfy the basic needs of the user
