| Sumari: | Artificial Intelligence has significantly transformed the educational processes since its rapid evolution, offering new tools to strengthen the PLE of university students. According to this context, the present research aims to diagnose the use of Artificial Intelligence tools in the Personal Learning Environments of students in the Experimental Sciences Pedagogy Program: Computer Science program at the National University of Chimborazo, analyzing the tools they use the most according to the components of the PLE. This study was conducted under a quantitative research approach, with a nonexperimental-transectional design because the study variables were not manipulated, the sample consisted of 131 students. The information was collected by adapting a previously published questionnaire. According to the main results, it became evident that from the three categories that make up the PLE, the most used tool by students is the Chat GPT with a considerable use in the categories of acquisition, editing and processing of information. However, there is also a lack of knowledge of some artificial intelligence tools, which limits the strengthening of the PLE among students. |
