Sumari:This research is intended to all the actors of the Gobierno Autónomo Desentralizado del Cantón Guano, whit the objective of determining the degree of job satisfaction and its incidence with the labor performance of the entity in the period: January – December 2017. The types of research correspond to a descriptive peocess, since it was base on tecnological, political and organizational culture applications managed in the aforementioned institution as well as measuring and assessing the level of efficiency and effectiveness with which resources are handled in the administration, assumes a qualitative approach since it was investigated to report what happens, facts that give concrete information of the situation that we can explain and predict. The tachnique used was the survey. It was supported by a questionnaire that is structured as follows: motivation, communication, working conditions, social climate, work discipline, quality of work, amount of work, physical presence, The sample applied was to 170 employees who are working, in addition with the accountablility of the year 2017, the efficiency and effectiveness indicators were carried out, to determine the degrre of compliance with the programmed and executed activities. As a result, it could be mentioned, that the main cause for this type of deficiencies is the inadequate planning of the activities, as well as the lack of follow-up of the same, for which they reflect a considerable percentage in the tabulation of the applied surveys.
