| סיכום: | Psychosocial coping in adolescents with obesity constitutes a complex challenge that compromises emotional, social, and behavioral stability. The objective of this study was to identify the emotional, family, and social factors that influence their well-being, to describe the most frequent coping strategies, and to analyze the role of nursing personnel from the perspective of Betty Neuman’s Systems Model. To achieve this, a documentary bibliographic review with a descriptive approach was conducted, using scientific studies selected through criteria of relevance, thoroughness, and currency. The results show that the psychosocial coping of adolescents with obesity is shaped by various emotional and social factors, including low self-esteem, anxiety, and depression, which significantly affect their emotional and social stability. Based on this, the main coping strategies used by adolescents were identified, such as seeking emotional support, affective regulation, avoidance, and attempts at social adaptation all of which are determined by personal resources and the availability of support within their environment. From this standpoint, it was established that, according to Betty Neuman’s Systems Model, nursing personnel play a fundamental role through interventions aimed at strengthening the flexible, normal, and resistance lines of defense, with the purpose of promoting resilience, emotional self-regulation, and the adolescent’s biopsychosocial stability. |
