Summary: | In Ecuador, several teaching-learning methods have been implemented over the last decade, primarily since the educational reform was implemented in 2017, to generate new learning capacities in students. One is the chair of Education for Citizenship, in which students are immersed and involved in the cultural and social context. In the same way, educational quality measurement standards have been launched. Still, until now, they have not been executed even as a pilot plan, so it is difficult to analyze the quality and level of education, specifically at the high school level. Due to this, the present degree project proposes to explore the social learning of Albert Bandura as a teaching strategy for citizenship education in the second year of the unified general high school through a quantitative study to investigate the response of students to this model. It uses observation as an essential core to generate knowledge and learning while stimulating the processes of attention, retention, production, and motivation. A quantitative research methodology was used with stratified probabilistic sampling, generating data through surveys. As a result, the Bandura method is a potential and effective alternative for students to reach new levels of learning and develop solid knowledge during their studies. Teachinglearning process. |
