As a first step, the level of customer preference for dairy products was verified, there is no updated data on the consumption of these products, so that for the project has been considered the basis for projections of population and per capita consumption of previous years, with the market research was determined that 96.8% of the population of Canton Alausí consumes dairy products, of which 19% consume cheese and 28% consume yogurt, based on the surveys it could be established that two products will be produced that are the most requested, as part of the technical study defined the appropriate facilities for the process, also determined the human talent and raw material for the production of dairy as well as equipment and tools, the financial study determined that the total investment is $311.330.26 the result of the evaluation of the project yielded a NPV of $ 61,292.37, the IRR 23.99%, TMAR 12.15%, Profit/Cost is $1.18, the recovery period will be 3 years 10 months, the risk of the initial investment will be balanced based on the increase in production while maintaining the same introductory price thus achieving entry into new markets. |
