Riassunto:Burnout syndrome is a state of physical and emotional fatigue resulting from work conditions or workload and coping is the cognitive behavioral response that is implemented to reduce or eliminate psychological distress or stressfulconditions. Fleishman (1934). The objective of this project is to know the levels of Burnout Syndrome and to apply the program of alternative therapies "Anicris" to diminish the effects of the Syndrome. The methodology used in this research was basic, explanatory, descriptive and correlational, as it was based on the theoretical context to determine the relationship between the Burnout syndrome and alternative therapies. It was applied on Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo engineering school faculty. The sample population consisted of 52 teachers between men and women. The technique used was the survey. The instrument was Burnout Measurement Test (Maslach Burnout Inventory - Educater Surney MBI- ES). It was applied to teachers and consists of 22 items. The main results and conclusions after applying the MBJ Test with 22 items showed that it was necessary to perform a reliability test to establish the instrument construction and to verify if it is applicable to in any context. A Cronbach alpha of 0.850 established that that the test application is very good for this research environment. When performing a validity and KMO analysis it is found a 25% and 0.639 of lost variance and 0.000 <0.005 of significance which showed the carried out research was valid. During the investigation, two structural diagrams representing the initial model and then the proposed model in 5 dimensions are determined and considered as significant contribution about the investigation of Burnout syndrome. When applying the alternative therapies and determining the level of significance in the research, it can be concluded that the higher application of aromatherapy and foot reflexology make the levels of Burnout decrease in its harmful effect on health. The levels accounted for 7.5% of Burnout which are high, therefore it is necessary to carry out training and prevention in alternative health programs.
