Lupus patients have a negative impact on physical and mental health, with fatigue, pain, and depression being the main determinants of quality of life, which makes it necessary for them to receive comprehensive and holistic care. The general objective was to determine Callista Roy's theory in the care of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus through a bibliographic review; The specific objectives were: To analyze the nursing intervention considering the four adaptive modes of Callista Roy's theory in the care for patients with systemic lupus erythematosus and to define the leading nursing diagnostic labels based on the NANDA taxonomy, to improve their health condition. Health. One thousand one hundred sixty-nine scientific articles from different databases were reviewed. By applying inclusion and exclusion criteria, a sample of all 44 bibliographic sources was reached, of which 27 were used for the triangulation process. Based on the results, the nursing approach was determined using Callista Roy's theory and its four modes: physiological mode, self-concept, role function mode, and interdependence mode, guaranteeing the establishment of adaptive responses in a disease situation. Nursing interventions enable the patient to be in balance with himself and his environment, thus improving the health and quality of life of these patients with autoimmune diseases. Diagnostic labels were proposed that could occur in this type of patient, such as acute pain, chronic pain, impaired physical mobility, impaired skin integrity, situational low self-esteem, anxiety, discomfort, fear, hopelessness, ineffective role performance, body image disorder, interruption of family processes, social isolation. Keywords: Systemic lupus erythematosus, nursing approach, adaptation, Callista RoyRESUMEN: El Lupus Eritematoso Sistémico (LES) es una enfermedad crónica, progresiva y multisistémica, con alta incidencia, de manera que, la Organización Mundial de la Salud define al LES como una enfermedad del sistema inmunitario que daña por error el tejido sano que puede afectar cualquier parte del cuerpo. Los pacientes lúpicos adquieren un impacto negativo sobre la salud física y mental, siendo el cansancio, dolor y la depresión, los principales determinantes en la calidad de vida, lo que hace necesario que reciban atención integral y holística. El objetivo general fue determinar la teoría de Callista Roy en el cuidado de la paciente con lupus eritematoso sistémico mediante una revisión bibliográfica; como objetivos específicos fueron: Analizar la intervención de enfermería considerando los 4 modos adaptativos de la teoría de Callista Roy en el cuidado en la paciente con lupus eritematoso sistémico y definir las principales etiquetas diagnósticas de enfermería sustentados en la taxonomía NANDA, para mejorar su condición de salud. Se revisó 1169 artículos científicos de las diferentes bases de datos, al aplicar criterios de inclusión y exclusión, se alcanzó una muestra conformada por la totalidad de 44 fuentes bibliográficas, de los cuales 27 fueron utilizados para el proceso de triangulación. En base a los resultados se determinó el abordaje de enfermería mediante la teoría de Callista Roy y sus cuatro modos: modo fisiológico, autoconcepto, modo de función del rol y modo de interdependencia garantizando establecer respuestas adaptativas en situación de enfermedad, de esta manera se incluyeron intervenciones de enfermería que posibilita al paciente estar en equilibrio consigo mismo y su entorno, de esta manera se mejorará la salud y calidad de vida de estos pacientes con enfermedades autoinmunitarias.
