Cuir clib leis | Achoimre: | In Guano, especially in its communities in the Chingazo Alto, Ela, and Valparaíso sector, we can find traditional structures that have survived in time. Those constructions are studied to rediscover the materials and construction methods adopted at the time they were made. This research is exploratory, and its main objective is to determine the different typologies presented in the place. The methodological approach is based on the following variables: materials, construction system, year of construction or intervention, and the current use of these traditional constructions. Under these facts, 28 properties within the study area were analyzed using information analyzed by EcoSur and complemented by visits and verification of the variables in situ. The investigation answers consist of establishing the following typologies: constructions with a system provided in wood and concrete, bearing walls based on stone and brick, and self-supporting structures standing due to their weight and given configuration. |
