| Shrnutí: | This research analyzes the influence of functional training on the development of the special physical capabilities of young applicants to the Armed Forces. The overall objective is to evaluate the effects of a structured functional training program on strength, endurance, agility, and flexibility essential capabilities for military performance. The methodology employed is a quantitative, experimental approach, in which pre- and post-intervention physical tests were administered to determine the improvements achieved after the program's implementation. The study population consisted of young people in the preparation stage for entry into the Armed Forces, selected according to specific criteria of age, physical condition, and availability. The results demonstrate a significant increase in the evaluated physical capabilities, especially in strength and muscular endurance, evidencing the effectiveness of functional training as a comprehensive tool for optimizing physical performance. Furthermore, improvements in coordination and body stability were observed, which contribute to injury prevention and better adaptation to the demands of military training. It is concluded that functional training, applied in a planned and progressive manner, represents an effective alternative to traditional methods, promoting the balanced development of specific physical abilities. This study provides a scientific and methodological basis for the implementation of physical training programs for military applicants, strengthening their performance and adaptability in service. |
