Gaia:This research refers to the issue ofthe professional performance ofteachers ofthe Faculty of Educational Sciences of the Careers of Educational Psychology and Psychopcdagogy of the Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo. The principal aim was to determine the professional performance of the teacher inside the educational process because on many occasions; it has been evidence that there is a concem on the part of university students when they do not understand a topic, they perform tasks that involve investigating but at the time of interacting the teacher does not solve the doubts. Besides, there are also cases where students only enter the classroom to comply with assistance; that is why it is necessary to know the teacher's work as they are the motivators to form professionals with ethics and morals. The research on this investigation is qualitative. The population was the Faculty of Education Sciences, and the sample used was 103 people, including 14 teachers and 89 students. The data collection instruments were Ah.doc questionnaires composed of I O items, designed for teachers and students; for our only variable, the programs that helped to collect and analyze data were Forms and Excel. It found that there is a similar appreciation between teachers and students about professional performance, that is if they use different pedagogical competences when planning and preparing classes and when teaching their subject.
