Тойм:In order to determine the factors associated with the pandemic in distance education that affect school dropout and learning at the CECIB "Luis Felipe Torres" of the Zula village of the Alausí canton, province of Chimborazo, school period 2020 - 2021. The theoretical framework has been carried out taking into account the basic concepts that were used in the bibliography of research two variables. The Methodology used was a mixed approach, of a correlational descriptive character. It was supported by research: documentary, bibliography, and field. The survey and the interview were the techniques used, the questionnaire and interview guide were apply, the first one had 12 items addressed to the students and the interview guide had 7 questions which was directly presented to the rector of the institution. the analysis and interpretation of survey findings, also descriptive statistical techniques were used. Of all the students survey that the factors associated with distance education in a pandemic had as main factors, low economic resources, lack of a computer, cell phone, internet, absence, migration of parents for a better future, incomplete nuclear family. , disinterest of the parents and the lack of employment, this made students do not have a meaningful learning, harming children´s future due to the inconveniences explained , the students chose not to attend classes and in worst cases finally dropping out.
