To conduct this study, field sampling was carried out using the HIBRID MX6 equipment, which provides monitoring of multiple gases using internationally recognized methods and standards. After analyzing and obtaining the results, it was established that there are four hazardous substances such as: (tert-butyl alcohol; benzene; phenol; acetic acid). Subsequently, the total concentration dose was calculated, resulting in a number greater than one, which is unacceptable and would lead to a series of catastrophic events that would be impossible to mitigate and control. Once the evaluation was completed, as a preventive measure, it is recommended that ROLANTEX company opts for a hazardous substances management plan based on each department, work position, and work activity, thus avoiding unexpected events that could lead to significant losses. |
