Resumo:ABSTRACT: This work was developed under the Engineering, Industry and Production research line and was born under the need to manage the psychosocial risk factors in the workers of the Commercial Management of the Empresa Municipal de Agua Potable y Alcantarillado of Riobamba EP EMAPAR, for this, the objectives were the identification and evaluation of the risk factors and with the results obtained from this process, prevention measures were proposed for those factors evaluated with a high level of exposure and that may affect the physical, mental and social health of the workers. To meet the objectives, two methodologies endorsed by the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (insst) and the Ministry of Labor (MDT) Ecuador were applied. The Prevention Technical Note 926: Psychosocial Factors Evaluation Method F- Psico, which is based on the application of a questionnaire of 89 short-answer questions, providing information on 9 risk factors. The psychosocial risk factors evaluation method proposed by the MDT Ecuador was also applied, whose evaluation is based on a 58-question short-answer questionnaire, obtaining results on exposure to 8 risk factors. From the application of these two questionnaires to the 26 workers of the Commercial Department, it was found that the factors that can affect the health of the personnel are: workload and pace of work, leadership, work organization and participation/supervision. Finally, a proposal for preventive planning for these factors was elaborated, and several preventive actions were proposed for aspects such as: organizational structure and practices, selection, training and appropriate development of personnel, job description, communication and social environment.
