总结:ABSTRACT: Trade tension and competitive devaluation between China and the United States constitute an issue of global relevance, whose analysis is enriched by the application of game theory. In this work two different games will be modeled. These provide a unique perspective on how nations can strategically respond to various trade policy configurations. Therefore, the first game is intended to reveal the situation of commercial tension that gives rise to a "trade war", through the application of an extensive game, where payments will be represented by tariffs, while the second game explains yuan-dollar interactions, which uses the hawk-dove model as a game theory model that will allow us to demonstrate the effects of protectionism and currency devaluation on trade tensions. The findings show that protectionism and negotiation strategy is a credible deterrent threat and can be a deterrent to an all-out currency war. Likewise, the concept of rational choice is used to demonstrate that for advanced economies the cooperation strategy is the best.
