總結: | ABSTRACT Student: Wilson Javier Arévalo Encalada The objective of this research project was to analyze the assertiveness and family functioning of the intensive high school students of the Dr. Alfredo Pérez Guerrero Educational Unit, 2020. The methodology type is documentary, bibliographic, cross-sectional and descriptive; with a population of 60 intensive high school students, with an age range where the minimum was 18 and the maximum was 61 years, a mean of 29 years and standard deviation of 10.02, in which the level of assertiveness through the application of the Assertiveness Assessment Scale (EEA), designed by García and Magaz (1994), to identify the levels of assertiveness, obtaining the following results: within the male gender, 41.2% have a high level of assertiveness, 41.2% medium level and 17.6% low level; Regarding the female gender, 51.9% present high level, 25.9% low level and 22.2 medium level of assertiveness. On the other hand, the scale was applied to assess family functioning (EVFF), elaborated by Olson and Cols (1991), which classifies the levels of functioning, the male gender was found with 73.5% presenting a level medium, 20.6% high level and 5.9 low level; Regarding the female gender, it was obtained that 81.5% maintain a medium level, 14.8% a high level and 3.7 low level of family functioning. All these findings and results point to the realization of an intervention plan with the aim of strengthening the assertiveness of the students, which will help in the improvement of family functioning.
