| Summary: | The purpose of this research project is to design marketing strategies for promoting the tourist attractions of the Paltas canton in the province of Loja. The following study used a descriptive, documentary, and field approach, involving the development and administration of surveys and interviews with tourists and key players in the tourism sector, respectively. The information obtained reveals problems with inefficient promotion, limited digital presence, poor signage, and a limited supply of complementary services, directly affecting the destination's visibility. However, despite these difficulties, it was possible to generate strong interest in activities related to nature, gastronomy, and cultural heritage. Based on the analysis, strategies are proposed that focus on digital marketing, strengthening territorial identity, strategic alliances, improving the tourism offer, and visual content, with the aim of increasing the competitiveness, positioning, and sustainability of the Paltas canton as an emerging destination. |
