Análisis de factibilidad para la fabricación de alimento balanceado de haba para ser comercializado en Saraguro en el 2024

The present research work studies the feasibility to creating a processing plant for bean-based balanced products in Saraguro parish. Firstly, the possible market segment was identified through surveys, with a 30.3% acceptance rate for the bean-based balanced product and a sales projection for the first year of 1,5228 bags. These values represent 30% of the total demand, with a reference price of $40.00 per 40-kilogram bag. In the technical study, the appropriate formulation was determined through the requirements of the target market, which are the people who are dedicated to animal husbandry, and the design of the plant was elaborated specifying the production process, raw material and machinery necessary for the elaboration of the product. The organizational study established the organic functional structure, the mission and functions of the position for each of the workers that will be part of the work team, and finally, the financial study determined an investment of $ 258,848.71, a Minimum Acceptable Rate of Return (MARR) of 11.79%, a Net Present Value at 15% (NPV) of $ 59,202.12, an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 29.97%, a cost benefit (C/B) of $ 1.20 that for every dollar invested will earn $ 0.20, the Payback Period (PP) is 2 years, 8 months, 12 days being the project feasible for its implementation.
