Sumari:This rescarch is intended to demonstrate the analgesic effect of the Jones’s Technique to relieve pain in the mechanical back pain of adults who come to the physical rehabilitation area of the Military Basic Hospital No. 11 - BCB Galápagos, being one of several manual techniques used for the treatment of the osteomyoarticular system, where its correct and timely application can achieve the best possible results in the physiotherapeutic treatment of the dorsal column. This study was applied to 25 patients to whom the physiotherapeutic clinical histories were used to obtain the necessary data and subsequent statistical process through the SPSS software, where it was possible to identify that the gender of patients who predominate it is masculine of military occupation, this may be due to the activities carried out by many of them such as: training with overexertion without taking the respective precautions, when doing weightlifts in an inappropriate way without the use of belts or belts, thus affecting the dorsal column. For the initial and final assessment, the visual analog pain scale (VAS) and the jump sign were used, which shown that at the end of the treatment of the 25 patients with mechanical back pain, 92% bad a range of 0 meaning absence of pain, while 8% came to have a mild pain, verifying in this way the effectiveness of the Jones technique in reducing pain.
