Description
Summary:The present investigation was carried out to apply the Team-Based Learning (TBL) methodology for learning physics in high school students of Unidad Educative del Milenio Penipe, 24 second-year high school students were selected as a sample. The subject studied through the TBL was Newton's First Law, for which a quantitative approach methodology, deductive method, field modality, pre-experimental design, and exploratory level were used, using the survey as a data collection technique. Data, while the instrument used, was the knowledge test applied three times as pre-test diagnostic evaluation, formative evaluations (iRAT) and (tRAT), and post-test summative evaluation. The results obtained in the pre-test were unfavorable. At the same time, the formative evaluations indicated an increase in the student's knowledge levels. Finally, satisfactory results were reflected through the post-test, through the data obtained, and based on all the research. Carried out, it was possible to conclude that the TBL is a viable alternative methodology for teaching physics to high school students if adequate and necessary time is allocated for elaborating curricular plans and didactic materials.
