| Riassunto: | The objective of this research work was characterizer the adolescents of the “Santo Tomas Apostol Riobamba” Educational Unit, according to the type of sexism and the anxious-depressive features that are present. The study had a non-experimental desing, with a quantitative approach that allowed the type of sexism and the anxious and depressive features. The study population was represented by the adolescents of the “Santo Tomas Apostol Riobamba”, Educational Unit; taking a simple random sample for research. A data collection of the clinical histories was made, it evidences the results of the scale for the detection of sexism in adolescents, the Inventory of Trait-State Anxiety (ITSA) by Ch. Spierlberger and the Inventory of Trait State Depression (ITSD), documents that are in the archives of the institution. When reviewing the results, 67% of hostile sexist attitudes were observed in men and 75% in women, anxiety as a trait was found in the female gender with a high intensity of 60%, while in the male gender it ranges around 50% between high and medium intensity. In depression, as a feature in men, it has a mean level equivalent to 50% while in women it represents a high level (60%). As a conclusion of the study, the presence of hostile sexism, anxiety and depression traits in adolescents at high and medium levels is evidenced, for this reason it is advisable to apply a psychological guidance plan which is adaptable to the whole educational institution. |
