Etiketle | Özet: | The objective of this research work aimed to identify the ancestral knowledge of the Pawkar Raymi and its influence on cultural tourism in the Riobamba canton, the research is descriptive, correlational, it is on field, it’s non-experimental, which allowed the observation of the phenomena in their natural environment, looking for the relationship between the two variables and it was the result of the application of Likert scale surveys, carried out in a single period of time, for the cultural tourism independent variable, the tourists who visit Riobamba for the Pawkar Raymi festival were taken as a sample, evaluating the distinctive, spiritual, material, intellectual and affective traits and elements that are attributed to this festival; for the study of the dependent variable, ancestral knowledge, the main actors who actively participate in the socio-cultural event (Pawkar Raymi) were taken as a sample, focusing on the study of cultural codes, community awareness and cultural memories, with all the data obtained, the test on the general and specific hypotheses takes place by applying the Chi - Square, and the result was that there is no correlation between the study variables. For this reason, strategies that allow the diffusion of the Pawkar Raymi festival promoting cultural tourism are developed as an alternative proposal. |
