| Zusammenfassung: | This project was carried out in patients with low back pain who come to the "Galápagos" Basic Military Hospital of the city of Riobamba through the application of a kinesiotherapy model based on anteroposterior active movements, which are applied in different positions, which are: supine decubitus, in position of four, sitting position and standing in order to reduce pain and improving the functionality of flexion and extension of the lumbar spine. Low back pain is the most frequent pathology in the world since it produces functional, occupational disability due to excessive muscle exertion, repetitive movements or direct impact on the lumbar area. An anatomical recount of the spinal column, especially of the lumbar region, was also performed. The data obtained from the investigation was carried out through the initial and final physiotherapeutic assessment sheets, which included the following tests: Eva pain scale and the Schober test. Which allowed to evaluate the evolution of the patient during the application of the treatment obtaining real data. The methodology applied was based on the data collection obtained during the development of the research project, thus facilitating the statistical analysis and allowing obtaining verification results through scientific and updated information. The study was developed in 25 patients, of which 68% were male and 32% were female, ranging in age from 40 to 70. The treatment was applied in a period of 10 sessions where the efficacy and veracity of the application was evidenced. Of the kinesiotherapy model, thus verifying the objectives set at the beginning of the research project |
