| Zusammenfassung: | ABSTRACT: This research work is focused on the marketing and tourist offer of the urban parishes, belonging to the Guano Canton, in Ecuador. The main problem to be investigated is the limited tourist offers, which is the main factor by which the tourist development of the canton has been affected due to the little use of the tourist potential since there is not adequate management of the natural and cultural attractions, which causes a devaluation of these for the generation of tourist products. Among the main causes were detected the deficient process of tourism marketing for the positioning of the canton, the deficient promotion and commercialization of the tourism potential, and the deficient quality in the provision of services and the design of tourism products, in this way it is possible to demonstrate effects such as poorly diversified tourism marketing strategies, a low influx of national and foreign tourists in the city, and a lack of use of the natural, cultural and gastronomic attractions. The research seeks to examine and detail the important factors that influence the tourist offer of the urban parishes of the canton as well as to promote its natural and cultural tourist attractions, generating a cultural identity of its people, which over the years have been referents in preserving their customs, traditions, leather goods, agriculture and textiles that have positioned it as a magical destination to be known and at the same time contribute to the economic development of the locality.
