Zusammenfassung:3D printing (three-dimensional printing) is a new technology that is on an upswing. It guarantees speed, quality, and resource-saving. It is not used in Ecuador in construction; however, mortar studies are carried out with native, viable, and printable materials. Experimental-descriptive research is carried out, focused on preparing and testing mortar using river sand from the mine of Mr. Segundo Chacón, corresponding to the Mulaló area in the Cotopaxi Province. In compliance with quality standards, this particular sand meets the parameters required for mortar design. A dosage of Portland cement type HE without lime and plasticizer is added. Its printable feasibility is verified, comparing it with previous results from other areas of the country. Consequently, further research is suggested in order to determine the most optimal material.
