| Özet: | In this work, "Adapted aerobic exercises for a Group of Older Adults," the lack of physical activity in older adults is a problem that is becoming increasingly relevant in our current society. As we get older, we commonly decrease our participation in physical activities and adopt a more sedentary lifestyle. However, this lack of physical activity can have significant consequences for the health and well-being of older adults. The objective of the research is to diagnose the anthropometric indices and resistance capacity of the individuals before the implementation of the aerobic exercise program, to design and execute an aerobic exercise program adapted for the study population, to analyze the post-intervention results to find out if the exercise program helped older adults. A quasi-experimental methodology was applied because it involves comparing selected groups based on specific characteristics, and they are not randomly assigned to the experimental conditions. The Ruffier Test was used as an instrument, which consists of calculating aerobic strength and the ability to restore the cardiac level in a short duration in older people. This simple test will tell us the cardiovascular adaptation to exercise. We conclude that the impact of the adapted aerobic exercise program has improved respiratory and cardiac capacity in patients. Aerobic exercises are the best way to work your heart and lose weight. They also operate the muscles and strengthen the bones. Therefore, it is recommended to carry out constant physical activity to improve respiratory and cardiac capacity, mood and increase energy to carry out activities of daily living, avoiding the appearance of some diseases that are very prevalent in older adults, such as diseases of the heart, cerebrovascular accidents, diabetes mellitus, etc. |
