| Riassunto: | The current study is a bibliographic study covering 35 scientific articles with academic relevance. The search for scientific articles included databases such as Scopus, PubMed, and Google Scholar; the purpose of the exploration was to analyze and emphasize information about the effects of spinal manipulation and/or mobilization as part of the physiotherapist rehabilitation process in people who present cervical pain. Cervical pain, a perception of discomfort or pain in the neck area, is a complex condition involving the seven cervical vertebrae, muscles, ligaments, intervertebral discs, and surrounding nerves. Spinal manipulation and/or mobilization, a technique used in the treatment of cervical pain, aims to alleviate pain, improve joint range, and reduce disability. This study, employing a logical- inductive approach with a documentary design and descriptive level, delves into the role of spinal manipulation and/or mobilization in managing cervical pain. The findings of this study strongly support the use of spinal manipulation and/or mobilization in the management of neck pain. The research successfully demonstrates the therapeutic effects provided by this technique in individuals suffering from neck pain, thereby validating its efficacy and relevance in the field of physiotherapy. |
