Add Tag | Summary: | This research approach to the identification and the put-in value of architectonical qualities pretended by the “Ex-Banco Popular” building in Riobamba, one of this research objectives is to question: ¿Are there any architectural reference in Riobamba? ¿Is the building shape looking for his reason in the modern movement criteria? ¿What value did it have? ¿What value does it have now? Due to this, exploration is performed across Riobamba to identify buildings that intend somehow to take the modern movement shape. From this review, the “Ex-Banco Popular” building stands out. It moves off his neoclassic environment and conserves a certain orderliness that can be proved by looking at its grid and its seen concrete usage. According to its time, this supports the modern architecture influence in Riobamba. So, our primordial tool will be the looking, supported by blueprints redrawing and digital modeling, which will allow us to value the original project, and through the actual state redrawing. It is pretended to be confirmed, understanding that any architecture must read at its three times (original, built, and present). |
