El canto para el desarrollo de la expresión oral de los estudiantes de Tercer Grado de Educación Básica de la Unidad Educativa “Martiniano Guerrero Freire” de la ciudad de Riobamba en el periodo 2020- 2021

This research addressed the topic "Singing for the development of the oral expression of thirdgrade students of Basic Education at Martiniano Guerrero Freire School in Riobamba City from 2020 to 2021. This study sought to look at the difficulty of oral expression having as reference the fear students experience in expressing their ideas in class and their difficulty in pronouncing words and understanding the meaning of the words or the idea of the text being read. This work aimed to demonstrate the importance of singing in the development of oral expression and its benefits through creative and playful activities that teachers can apply to their students— having as a reference the population of students attending their third grade at Martiniano Guerrero Freire school. The theoretical framework for this study was the review of bibliographic documentation of the two variables identified as singing and oral expression. This project worked with a qualitative approach, non-experimental design, and an observation sheet was applied for data collection, making its respective analysis and interpretation of data. In conclusion, singing has a significant benefit in developing oral expression, thus introducing several ludic activities based on riddles, tongue twisters, short stories, and nursery rhymes
